The Knife Angel visits Northampton - TV
The Knife Angel has finally arrived in Northampton as part of it’s UK tour. The 27-foot statue, made from over 10,000 confiscated knifes and blades is the national statue against of violence and aggression.
Over the next two weeks the Angel will call the plaza outside the All Saints Church in Northampton town centre it’s home, before moving on to Corby and continuing on it’s journey around the UK.
Craig Evans headed down to have a look at the impressive statue and learn more about the background behind the statue.
Northampton All Saints Church 18 month dome restoration finally finished - Radio
The All Saints church stands tall as a center piece in the Northampton town center, at it’s heart used to be an old and crumbling church dome. Well after a £120,000, 18 month, restoration project, the dome at the center of the of the All Saints has been restored to former glory.
Antonio Giovinazzi’s first home Formula E race - TV
Antonio Giovinazzi, driver for Northampton-based Dragon Penske Autosport, admits he’s finding it ‘difficult to adapt’ following a challenging home race weekend racing in the eternal city.
The Italian, who grew up Pula, came last in round four and DNFed round five, continuing his challenging start to the season.
New to Formula E and the infamous 19-turn Circuito Cittadino dell’EUR, the Italian driver admitted he was feeling “positive pressure” ahead of his home race debut in front of a sellout Italian crowd.
